3-Day Mendoza Wine Escape: Luján de Cuyo, Maipú & the Uco Valley

Three days, three wine regions, one seamless private journey. With your own driver and English-speaking guide, you’ll taste old-vine Malbec in Luján de Cuyo, olive oil and tradition in Maipú, and high-altitude wines in the Uco Valley, with a long, wine-paired lunch every day.

3 days · Private tour · 3 regions, olive oil tasting and 3 wine-paired lunches · Hotel pickup · From USD 565 per person (minimum 2 guests)

Why Three Days in Mendoza

Each of Mendoza’s main wine regions has its own personality, and one day only shows you part of the picture. Luján de Cuyo is the classic home of Malbec, Maipú is the historic heart of Mendoza winemaking, and the Uco Valley is where Argentina’s most exciting high-altitude wines are made today.

Over three days you’ll taste the difference between them, glass by glass, and see the full range of Argentine wine: century-old family cellars, modern architectural wineries and small boutique producers where you’ll often meet the people who make the wine.

Your Three Days

Luján de Cuyo: The Land of Malbec

Pickup at your hotel at 9:30 am. We visit two wineries in Agrelo, Perdriel, Vistalba or Chacras de Coria, combining historic estates with modern or boutique producers, and finish with a wine-paired lunch at a third winery. Back at your hotel around 4:00 pm. Our usual favorites include Finca Ambrosía, Lorca, Clos de Chacras, Viamonte and Finca Bandini. More about this day.

Uco Valley: High-Altitude Wines and the Andes

Pickup at 8:30 am for the scenic drive south to the foot of the Andes. Two boutique wineries in the morning, such as Bianchi Winery, Piedra Negra by François Lurton or Zaina Family Winery, followed by a long wine-paired lunch at Tupungato Divino, our favorite lunch in the valley. Back around 5:30 pm. More about this day.

Maipú: Olive Oil, History and a Long Lunch

Pickup at 9:30 am. We start with an olive oil tasting at a traditional mill such as Laur or Centenario, visit CarinaE, a boutique family winery, and finish with a wine-paired lunch with dessert at La Toscana or a nearby winery. Back around 4:00 pm. More about this day.
