Why Visit the Aconcagua Valley
The valley takes its name from the Aconcagua River, which flows down from the highest mountain in the Americas. Warm days and cool mountain nights produce structured Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère and Syrah, while the coastal side has become known for fresh whites.
Its wineries stand out for their history and award-winning wines, and the valley is one of Chile’s least crowded wine regions. It also lies on the road to Mendoza, so it’s the perfect stop when crossing the Andes.
