Why Visit the Casablanca Valley
Halfway between Santiago and the coast, Casablanca was Chile’s first great cool-climate wine region. Morning fog from the Pacific and cool afternoon breezes slow the ripening of the grapes, giving fresh, aromatic whites and elegant Pinot Noir.
It’s home to a wide variety of wineries, from well-known estates to small family producers, and many have excellent restaurants, which makes it one of the best valleys in Chile for a long lunch among the vines.
Your Day in the Casablanca Valley
9:00 am: Hotel Pickup in Santiago
We pick you up at your hotel and drive west toward the coast, about an hour away.
Morning: Atilio & Mochi
A boutique winery founded by a Brazilian couple who fell in love with Chile and its wines. The visit is personally guided by Angela, the owner, through the vineyard and the small cellar, for an intimate and memorable tasting.
Midday: Villard Fine Wines and Paired Lunch
A small family winery that makes lovely wines. You’ll enjoy a lunch paired with their wines.
5:00 pm: Back to Your Hotel
We drive you back to Santiago, arriving at around 5:00 pm.

Our favorite Casablanca day combines Atilio & Mochi and Villard Fine Wines.
We can also visit Casas del Bosque, Veramonte, William Cole, Loma Larga, Viña Mar, Quintay, Bodegas RE, Catrala, Kingston, La Recova, Tunquén, Casa Romero or Viña Emiliana. Love crisp whites? We can include the San Antonio Valley, even closer to the ocean, with Matetic, Casa Marín or Chocalán.
